THE GROWTH EXPERIENCE was born of a deep need among men for a deeper sense of connection, meaning and presence in an increasingly chaotic and lonely world.

Many of the social, tribal and cultural institutions that used to support men have lost relevance and meaning in the digital age, yet healthy spaces for men to connect are needed more than ever.

Meet the Team

Matt McCartney

Matt is a former undercover Toronto Police Officer who courageously stepped into a more aligned call for service within various communities. Matt guides and supports men as they navigate growth and change through the lens of his own lived experiences. Leveraging personal & professional traumas and a variety of recovery processes. Matt embodies post traumatic growth in its essence, desiring to assist other Men navigate this for themselves.

Ryan Markham

Ryan has coached freestyle skiing and mountain biking for over a decade. His mission is to pay it forward by passing on his knowledge and experience to aspiring athletes. As a former X-Games athlete in freestyle skiing, he has learned the importance of incorporating breathwork and hot/cold therapy techniques to recover and achieve greater balance both mentally and physically. Ryan is inspired to continue this journey of growth and to lift fellow men up and support others who are looking to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Nathan McCosker

Nathan is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years experience, which has at times included the harsh experience of business failure and recovery. Nathan shares this experience through consulting, mentoring and coaching startup and existing businesses and helps fellow entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of building, running and managing a business. Nathan has a strong calling to men's mental health and building stronger communities of support.
